"My husband works for a car dealer and under a recall, the seat belts had to be replaced. This left boxes of seat belts headed for the dumpster. Thinking they were in such good condition and too good to throw away, he brought them home to me. At first, I thought of webbing for lounge chairs or maybe a hammock and then I noticed my daughter needed a bag to carry her books to school. After all, these seat belts were meant to hold up to 300 lbs, were extremely durable and washable. With a little trial and error and a few proto-types, I came up with the design for a purse (bag). Now all my friends and family carry these purses (bags) and just love them! I know you will too!."
